The man dropped 60 in his retirement game.

The rest of Kobe’s teammates combined for 35 shots. The Utah Jazz starters combined for 57 shots in total. You have to have the basketball cachet and confidence of a Kobe to command that many shots.

The Lakers beat the Jazz 101-96.

Kobe is a legendary figure in the basketball and sports world at large. The celebrities came out to watch Kobe 60, including Kanye West, Jay-Z and Adam Levine. NBA players in attendance included Bryant’s Lakers threepeat running mate Shaquille O’Neal.
