Chris Paul starting for Golden State Warriors

Chris Paul‘s role with the Golden State Warriors is becoming more clear, with the 2023 NBA Preseason less than one month away. Chris Paul will be a starter for the Golden State Warriors in the 2023-24 season, according to NBA insider Marc J. Spears (H/T Warriors Wire):
“I do expect him to start. And I think it’s like five-minute spurts,” Spears said. “I don’t know that they really want his minutes to be high, but I think they’re gonna try it. I could be wrong, but that’s the jist I’m getting. This isn’t an opinion that he’s expected to start; it’s what I’m hearing. He’s never not started in his career.”

Golden State will be looking to limit Paul’s minutes to reserve him for a deep run in the NBA playoffs with Stephen Curry and company. CP3 has had injuries during crucial playoff moments – most notably missing Game 6 and 7 in the 2018 Western Conference Finals, where the Houston Rockets led the Kevin Durant Warriors 3-2.
