John Stockton criticized the Los Angeles Lakers‘ LeBron James‘ impact on NBA front office moves. Here’s what Stockton had to say about LeGM on DNP-CD Sports Interviews, H/T Legion Hoops on X:

“It’d be maddening as a teammate to know that you can be expendable for one of his guys that he thinks he needs to play with.“

Stockton on if he ever made suggestions to the front office:

I stuck to my job. I trusted the guys with the Jazz….I never offered a suggestion ever.”

The interview did take place about a year ago.

Influence or not, LeBron has brought an NBA championship to every team he’s been part of. Several NBA teams, including John Stockton’s Utah Jazz, have never won an NBA title. Maybe it’s wise to get somewhat involved, after all.
