It’s finally official. Shannon Sharpe is joining First Take. Stephen A. Smith confirmed Sharpe’s signing on Thursday’s First Take episode.

Stephen A. provided a few more details, which he says he was made adware of just moments earlier:

“He will debut Monday, September 4. He will be on here every Monday and Tuesday with yours truly….”

The New York Post reported the Sharpe signing previously, but Stephen A. shot down those reports, saying nothing was official.
