Trey Murphy III meniscus injury

NBA Injury Report: Trey Murphy III of the New Orleans Pelicans sustained a meniscus injury while working out today. Adrian Wojnarowski brought the news, via X (formerly Twitter):

Trey Murphy III injury – Woj

Trey made a big leap in his second year with the Pelicans, scoring 14.5 points (up from 5.4 PPG in the 2021-22 NBA season) on an uber-efficient 48.4 percent FG, 40.6 percent from three and 90.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Per Woj, testing will need to be done to determine the severity of the Trey Murphy III injury, but we hope for a speedy recovery.
