Mann is from Massachusetts, so he watched a lot of Rondo’s tenure with the Boston Celtics. His girlfriend gave him the Rondo card for his birthday. After he scored 30 points in an AAU game with the card in his wallet, Mann has kept that card in his back pocket to this day.
Many NBA players are superstitious, and Terance Mann believes the card is his lucky charm of sorts.
