A’ja Wilson dropped 53 points in the Las Vegas Aces’ 112-100 win over the Atlanta Dream Tuesday night. Wilson’s 53 also tied the WNBA scoring record previously set by Liz Cambage.
Wilson shot an incredibly efficient 16-23 (69.5% FG), with seven rebounds and four blocks.
To put the points in perspective, A’ja Wilson’s 53 points was more than half the total of the entire Dream team. It’s always icing on the cake when the huge games are accompanied by a win.
