LeBron James sent a subtle warning to his trash talkers like the Denver Nuggets‘ coach Michael Malone and Dillon Brooks.

Melissa Rohlin of FOX Sports asked LeBron if he ever feels the need to respond to all the trash talk, and he responded with:

“There will be a time when everybody will get it.”

This stems back to the NBA Playoffs in the 2023 Western Conference Finals Lakers vs. Nuggets series, which saw the Nuggets sweeping the Lakers.

The Nuggets have been talking, since beating the Lakers and winning the 2023 NBA Championship. Michael Malone took a jab at LeBron hinting at retirement during an interview on the Pat McAfee show (via Silver Screen & Roll):

“Speaking of the Lakers, I just want you guys to know; this is breaking news. I’m thinking about retiring.”

LeBron knows the only revenge against trash talk is winning, so there’s no need to get too deep into it just yet. The Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets NBA Opening Night game will be intense. And then there’s the 2024 NBA Playoffs….
